Basement Description

The basement of Seoul Waste Away has three rooms: The Armoury, The Shooting Range, and The Womb. The whole basement is under ground, lined with the same reinforced concrete as above, making it the safest part of the house.

The stairs and lift from above both lead into the Armoury. The armoury is most empty, but from the sizes of the racks, it appears that light weapons are by the door, tactical along the wall of the shooting range, heavy along the wall with the lift, and support, or at least, bombs along the wall of the Womb door. The racks can move to accommodate very specific sizes of weapon.

Racks and tables are arranged in rows on the floor. The tables are drawered, with space for clips and other tools of simple gun repair, such as vices. There is plenty of space to practice deploying larger support weapons, if desired.

The shooting range is a long room covered in white ceramic tough panels, lit by a greeny fluorescent light. By the door there are several open cubicles that allow people training to steady weapons and measure how far back they are on stationary target practice. On the far end of the room there are a few stationary targets that can be moved farther or closer by a set on control on the wall. There is an opening on the side that allows people to walk into the range proper, and several other dummies on the wall that can be hooked up. Every target has a small display which measures force of impact, temperature of heat, depth of bullet, etc. The range has the possiblity to be automated, but for now is not.

The Womb is the most heavily locked door in the house, made of durasteel, and no one but Sosie can enter.
