Vastaag & The World View

Vastaag orbits Saturn and offers breath-taking views of the planet's famous rings. Reaching Vastaag in a sensible amount of time requires the use of fardrive engines and the only publicly available vehicle with these is the World View cruiser, operated by the EI.

In the Core book description of Fardrive it takes 14 days of travel to reach Vastaag from Earth (page 56) and costs 20,000 credits each way for a luxury cruise. A ticket without any luxury or even supplies can be had for only 1000 credits each way.

I realise that 4 weeks is a long time to travel somewhere and back again in terms of downtimes and things, so let me know if the current system is all right or if you would like it reducing to 1 week of travel instead. Changing the travel time doesn't cause any serious balancing problems, and may make it possible to have more fun with Vastaag in the future.

For week 67 purposes, a week is better.

That way, we have a week there, a week back, and a week to explore the pleasure planet. Three weeks, instead of five. Plus, if the World View has cybernetics labs (which it must) and every other facility you care to name just in case, this won't even effect people's down times as much.

It being a week would be the best. Vastaag should definitely have as much fun as possible ^^
