Week 21 Laser Tag

Han looked at the practice space that Darya and Han had rented for the week. It was a reasonable size, replete with targets and cover, the floor made of a tough milky ceramic that Han was very familiar with. It had covered every wall, ceiling and floor of the academy, used for it's resistance to damage and its stubborn refusal to stain with anything, but especially blood.

He took out the selection of weapons he had bought. A pair of Null Laser Rifles, a sniper rifle and a standard Y&S shotgun, all filled with Pacifier rounds. He waited, perched on a waist high red wall for Darya to arrive.

Darya walked in with a few more weapons than Han. To be more precise, she had dragged in one of her weapons racks on wheel from her van, two boxes of pacifier clips and energy cells on top of each. On her belts, one around her waist and one around her chest, she carried a total of ten tactical assault shields, and she was dressed in heavier armor than she usually goes on missions with.

"Morning Han." Said Darya, slightly sleepily, as she opened the case, grabbed a laser SMG and a ILA rifle and loaded them up, making sure to switch to null mode for the SMG. "Ida's coming, she's just...I don't know. Maybe Mirabelle set off some alarms again. But she'll be here soon."

"Wow, that's...that's some impressive armaments there, Ms Demeter. Also, is that new armour? Looks good. Certainly, its nice to see fellow agents wearing something that can take a few more hits." He glanced around the room, waving a hand about idly. "They've certainly got a nice set up here, for sure. Almost feels like being back where I was first trained, though this is a little more plush."

Darya flipped the guns over in her hand before releasing a burst from each of her guns at one of the bits of cover in the training facility. The bursts left a neat hole in the cover, the SMART ammo shots forming a triangle shaped with the laser shots neatly making a circular hole around it, although given how shallow the hole was, not much actual damage was done. (Two critical successes. I get to show off.)

She smiled, before swinging them back on top of the rack. "I'd have prefered to train in here actually. Lanzas preferred...live training. Saved money for them I guess." She trailed off and looked around a bit. "So, what you practicing with?"

"Oh, probably a bit of everything. Nice shot by the way." He paused to appreciate the quality of shooting, before gazing over the selection Darya had brought. He took hold of the null laser rifles he had brought, and pressed a button to the side of the room. A selection of targets began popping up and down behind cover, some green, some red.

"Red targets lose you points, green targets gain you points, 3 minutes, hit as many targets as possible?" Han asked, already scoping out a pair of targets in his head, and planning the most efficient targeting route.
