Singh Motors Display
Singh Motors is an Indian businessman's car manufacturing company. Singh cars are cheaply made in Comoros territories by a large number of factory workers instead of machines. The build quality is not amazing, but Singh cars are very efficient and are always cheap.
Kifayti 3 - Singh economical car
Cost: 5,000 (second/third/etc hand Kifaytis are often available for less than 500)
HP: 25
AV: 1
Top Speed: 60MPH
DM: -1
Passengers/Cargo space: 3 people, or one person and plenty of room for stuff
The Kifayti is built to serve the needs of the less well off members of society in old and open cities. The vehicles are three wheeled, with two front wheels and one back wheel. The engine is under the driver's seat, and there is space for two people behind them. The Kifayti is often seen as an 'expensive' rickshaw, but it is most commonly used by self-employed tradesmen who need a vehicle to move their equipment around.
Fuel efficiency is important to the Singh car philosophy, so the car is able to use fuel at the rate of a motorcycle instead of a car. For short journeys it can be charged from a standard electrical socket. It is also incredibly easy to repair and alter, since it is built out of cheap and common parts and materials (25% reduction in engine and bodywork upgrade costs).
The new Mk 3 version of the Kifayti is a small improvement over the Mk 2 because the power output of the engine has been enhanced so much that a computer or car stereo can be powered while the engine is ticking over.
Note on safety: The Kifayti will not explode when reduced to below 0 hit points. The wheels will fall off, the engine will spray lubricants all over the driver/passengers and the bodywork may unfurl like an opening flower, but it will not explode.
