Week 67: Overlooking the Heavens

The view in his, well their, room was good, but not as good as this.

Hugo cradled Una in his arms, looking without really seeing the thick and velvety blackness in front of him. The Sun was already so small in the sky, and the earth was just a point of light like other light in the sky. He ran his fingers over his gun's shimmery shell. He was sure, without saying anything, that she had known about his momentary but definitely indiscretion. She didn't feel any different. Maybe she was just biding her time. Maybe she was not bothered. Hugo didn't normally carry his mistakes with him, but he couldn't shake this.

A few people were walking around on the decks below, and some were even on the side of him, going into the various little shops that catered to the amazing view with sits that leaned back to take in the glorious view. The ex-Fed brought Una to the side of his face. Despite the fun that he had jammed hard into this week, he still felt a little.. empty inside. He sighed deeply, wondering which one of the stars in the sky was Saturn, or if it wasn't even there at all.
