Re: Chapter 1: Strike From The Heavens
As Voja got the autograph and everyone else slipped out of sight, a UIG Sunstone cruiser, a little larger than an Iolite and focused more on personnel transport than vehicular crimefighting, slid into the facility and scooped up the team before the WF division could react. The pilot and co-pilot were quiet, not saying anything to you beyond checking everyone was on board with "the cargo" and driving you to the nearest UIG teleport station.
Everyone gets 5 XP for completing your primary mission objective. You can get 1 XP towards a skill or training if you have a relevant experience on the mission that's stuck with you or taught you something; even if it's a skill you have a lot of points in, that's fine.
On your arrival back in the Black Knight's teleporter room, Colonel Lazard was already waiting for you. "Good to see you all back in one piece. Debriefing time, this way." She led the group down a corridor to the lounge - not the typical division debriefing environment, but the couches are pretty comfy all things considered.
Everyone, but especially Division Leader Zushe: What are the points you bring up in the debriefing? Is there anything you leave out? Feel free to do this as either a full in-character summary or just key points, whatever works best for you.

Re: Chapter 1: Strike From The Heavens
((The bonus exp is put towards Tactical Firearms since Corva missed a lot today))
During the meeting, Corva is quiet, and does not volunteer any information unless directly asked. They will answer any question honestly, but will not mention that they searched for Aldiek information on the WF system. They will hand over the documents they took detailing the xenotech device, but keep a copy for later analysis themselves.

((Voja encountered a lot of robots today, and they were acting really weird. He'll put a point into cybernetics and robotics))
Voja sees no reason to hold anything back from the UIG, so he will give a full account and answer all questions truthfully. The information he gives is primarily focused on the fight, and the enemies they came across, rather than any of the technical things. He will mention that they could have easily come into direct conflict with the Merissa's team, and will ask what should be done if that happens in the future?

((Zushe did a lot commanding and talking. The point goes towards Attitude.))
Zushe's debrief will be thorough, dwelling on the tactical aspects of the fight and the gains that were made. It's evident that he has business training, as he presents his report in a very structured fashion.
He will specifically praise Amp for her actions dealing with Merissa's squad and Voja for his combat prowess.
He does not leave out any details, but doesn't dwell on them either.

Re: Chapter 1: Strike From The Heavens
(I think Amp earned an XP of L&A)
Amp colors a little at Zushe's praise, pleased by the attention but glances at Voja then Lester as the Russian is praised. Amp feels no need to go over anything the others have already covered but she does note that the DLA didn't manage to retrieve the xenotech after four hours of uncontested control over the facility. Now she wasn't in the lab herself, and here she glances over at Corva, but that doesn't add up. Especially considering how they co-opted the drones. Its a shame they couldn't retrieve one, find out what happened to it.

James will not hold back any details, but will emphasize that precautions should be taken against re-purposed Helpsalot 'assassins', including their apparent tendancy to explode on destruction. He will also enquire as to the fate of the rescued/captured WF scientist.

Re: Chapter 1: Strike From The Heavens
Colonel Lazard listens attentively, taking notes on a tablet as you each give your accounts, and smiling at Zushe’s specific praise for Amp and Voja. “Good work, everyone. The scientist you’ve brought in will be questioned, and likely returned to the Federation once we feel safe doing so. If you find yourselves in another tense situation like today, you can engage in violent action if you judge it to be the best way to achieve the mission objectives and we’ll support you. Try to avoid it if you can, and obviously we can’t approve of unlicensed murder, but sometimes action has to be taken.
That said, it’s a good thing you didn’t take more direct aggression against the Feds today. Last night local time, the WF moved significant military forces into the Ai-Jinn Air Force’s Jakarta base and fought off the occupying forces. CEO Montoya issued the following statement:” At this, she tapped a button on her computer and a holographic display showed the CEO of the Western Federation, Cruz Montoya, sitting in their office. Their speech (in Spanish with subtitles) was lengthy, as many WF official statements tended to be due to the amount of rhetoric and corporate ethical policy that needed repeated emphasis, but the core soundbite was one that would be remembered for generations: “We will not hand back control of this territory – or any other that we must intervene in - to any organisation, corporate or governmental, that we cannot trust to hold it with as much responsibility as the Western Federation.”
“Right now, the UIG are scrambling all our resources trying to prevent a new corporate war… but there’s nothing we can do from up here, so you should all take some break time, get to know the place. In the mean time, have 4 rank points. You all did good down there, proved me right.”
And with that, Chapter 1 is over. All will be continued in the Downtime 1 thread(s).
