Known Facts. (updated week 57)

The deathmatch will take place within EI's territory during week 66.

The competitors will be the Western Federation, Shi Yukiro, and the Ai Jinn. Each will field one cyberlin for the battle, and the winner will control the island of Taiwan for the next ten years.

Update: While raiding the Savoy, we discovered a secret talk between the Ai Jinn and the EI which indicate EI have been pushing for this for a while. Additionally, the Ai Jinn are creating a new type of cyberlin which would give a major advantage in future deathmatches, and in return for EI pushing for the death matches to be a thing, they are getting first bid on all of them.

Current targets: Determine where the battle is taking place.
Find out as much detail on the cyberlins as possible and sell it on the open market (May be wise to wait until we have gotten information on all three, to avoid looking like we are taking sides, particularly with the Ai Jinn and Westen Federation).

Might I suggest we look into France and Siberia as strong contenders for location?

Those are the two most obvious choices, although I'd probably say that finding that location is the lowest priority.

I vote we start with the SY, since even if we can't get the other two, they are the safest politically.

I have a potential lead, at least regarding the Ai-Jinn. While checking out the people at the Savoy, one woman stood out, since she was the only Ai-Jinn there. Her name is Shuyang Cheng, and she is part of the Cheng family dynasty, which is found throughout the Eastern Bank, and she is associated with the Shanghai Cyberlin Concern. I would guess that she is involved with this in some capacity, and may well be worth looking further into.

I've run into the Cheng family before. Cheng Shiyu coordinates most Ai Jinn activity in Seoul, particularly associated with certain gangs. I can possibly chase up that angle.

It's sad to see a topic get derailed so soon after being set up. Given this was supposed to be a thread about Facts that we knew and has become general discussion I vote the name should be changed. I've set up a few other threads for people to discuss specific aspects of this endeavour.

Just so that people are aware, we now have missions planned up to week 62. this means that the week 63, 64, and 65 missions Need to be the cyberlin missions cause by week 66 the info will be much less valuable.

Ok, so. My Epic group has just bashed heads together and remembered something.

Week 28: The mission was a raid on a lab in which they were creating the prototype of an Ordinance class EMP harpoon. The sort of tech that could EMP a cyberlin. As far as we can recall this was an Ai Jinn project.
