Shanghai safehouse?

Hey everyone. Just wondering about setting up an Oracle safehouse in Shanghai, given how much stuff goes down there. We obviously can't make it too obvious, but just a house with a few basic sercuirity measures could be helpful. What do you guys think?

I'm in agreement with this plan. I've been discussing the possibility of setting up a safe house for agents, and Shanghai is both close enough to for easy commute in event of emergency, and far away enough for safety. And it would definitely be beneficial to have everything set up in Shanghai, especially since I forsee the need to go there more then a few times in the future.

I'm not sure that would be a great idea. We already have a massive surplus of property between oracle agents and Shanghai is not that long a journey. All I think this would achive is setting a fixed location for our enimies to find us in Shanghai (where our record isn't great)

Sounds like a good idea to me - I'd rather not have to rely on gang hideouts as a base of operations every time we're there.

It also sounds like a good idea. We are not lacking in funds or real estate to make even more safe houses.

as someone whose used alot of safehouses ruleone is annonymity is always better than security. as few records as possible, it should be set up as close to no records as possible. it should be someone whose not been seen much and there should be at least two shell companies. also you need a cover story people in 'empty' buildings cause talk, another guy in a store doesn't.

I can have the property registered to someone with no official connection to us.

And I can get to work on dealing with the records.

Well, if we start looking into how much this is all gonna set us back, I can make a few investments in the name of a Steven Berkely who's been needing an official residence till this point.

Annoyingly, we don't have any shell companies that I'm aware of, but even just having a flat that we are not offically linked to would be a big help.

I suspect safehouse, while technically correct, is the wrong word to use here. Perhaps base of operations would be a better term? I, at least, suspect I'll be investigating in Shanghai for a while at the very least. There's a lot of cult activity down here.

What we could do is purchase a series of apartments, not all by the same people, and change which ones of these we use each time. Each one would have some basic turrets, ect. We do have the cash.

I definitely think we need to look into some shadow investments. You live with Ms Salcedo, perhaps her EI training could help with that?

Possibly....though I'm not entirely sure that Ida is that kind of EI agent. Perhaps she could branch out Reflexion a bit more?
