Murder Mystery In Mumbai.

So, I went to Mumbai to find xenokeith...and I didn't find anything useful on that front. I did find some weird stuff going on though. A whole bunch of people have been found dead in the cybercafes in the Phoenix Mills area. They were all at keyboards, staring at the monitors, dead, and nothing has been found out from the computers as to what may have killed them.

I'm going to be around in Mumbai for a bit, having a look around. If possible, could someone with training in survalling places pop by and help me set up cameras in cybercafes around the area. Also, if any hackers are free and don't mind the risk of being taken over again, I'd quite like to have my own look at what they were doing on the computers at the time. If we could also get our hands on one of the computers, that would be awesome. I'm going to see if I can get hold of some information on the dead bodies, cause of death and stuff. Comoros is investigating, but they're not getting anywhere.

Okay, quick update on he whole situation. Marge and Han came down and helped me out with this one week, Han putting cameras in as many cybercafes as he could, which were linked to an AI I rented to see if any more deaths occured. Marge got hold of a computer and found that they were hacking really secure places without a neural jack...or a good computer, and succeding. I found that they were dying because of lots and lots of brain hemmorgaes, making it look like they died from hacking too hard.

This week, Han's efforts paid off, and the AI alerted me that another person had died, and I got over there as quickly as I could! I got some samples, and found that they were filled with nanites that degraded really quickly. So, it looks like people are using nanites to boost their skills, and it is backfiring.

So, this week, I'm gonna be trying to track down illegal nanite selling people. If anyone has any knowledge about nanites that they think could help, tell me. Also, the victims never met in the flesh at all, so if we could wok out how they communicate, or if they did, that would be great.

Okay. So there's this company called Nirmāṇa. They're a small nanotech maker with a production location in Mumbai. They make some pretty cool stuff, like body plates and special clothing that does cool stuff. A bit like Pos, but less moon focused.

Also, they may kind of be selling illegal nanites. And we're kind of looking for illegal nanites, so I think a visit might be in order, right? I don't think I can handle this on my own, but if, say I had a few hackers and stuff, we can do it as a team!

So I'm gonna spend a week there snopping out the place. Anyone who wants to join me is welcome! (Also, could someone bring some scout powder? I'm not allowed to buy it...)

So it seems that there is a guy in Nirmana who calls themselves "Upgrades" who has been known to sell active nanium on the blackmarket. But...to get in contact with him, you usually need to go through public messaging at cybercafes.

I can't be asked to do that, because it sounds like a pain, so I'm gonna start thinking of better ways to get in and have a chat with upgrades. Or just steal his computer and run away giggling. Either works.
