Oracle WMG

So...as well as simple tropes, I think that we need a place to put all the crazy, crazy theories about Oracle that we come up with. So...here we go.

CEO Lee is actually an older version of Ace

He's ex-WF, he knows exactly how to contact all the potential recruits, his personality fits quite well if you just make him a bit more jaded, he's ridiculously wealthy (which considering Ace's stock-trading skill would be easy to do with time travel) and he's good friends with Positron - and if anyone is going to invent time travel, it's Positron.

Posting the old fan favourite for completeness sake:

Han is Sosie's son.

Same natural eye and hair colour, same-ish region of birth (for Oracle), similar misfortune with romantic endeavours. Additionally appropriate age difference. I don't remember if there is any more evidence that has cropped up to support this one.

Sosie has missing years of her life. She also a dead husband who was ex-Ai Jinn and later murdered by the Ai Jinn relatively shortly after their wedding. This dead husband was of mostly Chinese descent, dark haired and dark eyed, and 6'4"+ and fucking strong and massive. Also, good at close combat.

S.A.M.

An A.I. of Ace's which was first seen inhabiting a droid jam packed with tiny rockets. At first glance, the missiles appear to explain the chosen name. But since then it has been shown to not only allow Ace to bypass programming his droids, it also switched control between a hornet and centaur that Ace summoned. As such the following data has been extrapolated.

Given the apparent body surfing abilities of the A.I. it appears to be able to remotely control devices. While we have only seen S.A.M. being used in Seoul and Shanghai it is possible that it is situated within the Eastern Bank and can not extend its reach much further but given that Ace and Positron own a SPACE company and also possibly satellites we can't really make that assumption.

However as we have only seen S.A.M. act around Ace and it is known that he has a very high internal A.I. which he talks to. As such S.A.M. could well be Ace's internal A.I. However unless Positron & Ace have been upgrading cybernetics again it would take all of Ace's attention for his A.I. to control a droid and he has been seen to act at the same time as S.A.M. Of course Positron messing with cybernetics is practically a given.

Unless S.A.M. is actually a completely individual entity reverse engineered from the Xeno entity that Marge uncovered/let loose/recaptured/sold. But that would be crazy.

Positron

Has a hacking total higher than technically possible for humans. Has the subspace mechtronics training. Was found in France.

Shap may or may not be the first Heizhuzhu, but when he dies, Hua will be the next one. Dusty and he will form an supers alliance.

He's not dead. He's five times not dead. He's got a new body, and he's someone we already know. And a woman now. A hot one. Who will.. seduce Ace?

Khalid is actually Xu under (another) false identity

If Xu had a backup or something similar, then he would wait a while before rejoining Oracle to spy on all his old friends - say, about as long as it took Khalid to come in. In the meantime, he could have been building up Khalid's backstory and base of operations with his previous Oracle money. Like Xu, Khalid is kind of creepy and suspicious, and seems to be disturbingly proficient with knives and illusions. However, his personality is different enough not to arouse suspicion, despite a large part of it obviously being a showman's front. In other words, it's the perfect disguise, with the same kind of skills.

Okay, prepare to get taken on a wild ride... We're going to the AU where this is a TV show and we're the writers.

So, we may have decided in the IRC chat, Fucked Up World by The Pretty Reckless is Oracle's theme song. I mean, come on. Munns suggested it as a Fenris song but, really. Listen to these words:

"We're like diamonds in the sky" that is what we are told

and

So, Oracle the TV show starts, and the music swells. The Pretty Reckless, or their Corporate Superfuture selves, actually feature in the credits. A short haired Taylor Momsen sings the song, cut with scenes of Seoul, money, gunfights, clips from the show featuring the current cast...

But when it shows the band in these credits, there is, just briefly, a moment where you can see the drummer. Just before it fades to the final scene, as Taylor croons 'Coming dooooowwwnn', you can see the drummer is.. Han.

I mean, sure, maybe the band made the perfect theme song so of course he's there, I mean, why not, but the fans go crazy. Is Han in a band? Who are the rest of these people? Are they also in Oracle? WILL THEY BE?

So the writers approached the band, in an attempt to fuck with their beloved fans, and asked Taylor if she wanted a spot on the show as an agent. She agreed. This is why we so strongly identify her as Fenris. Because she is.


Okay so Fenris isn't blonde, she's a brunette, and Momsen is more waifish than you'd expect, but I think we can work with it.

tl;dr I thought about this for like an hour Fenris is Taylor Momsen and sings the oracle theme song. Maybe hugo plays guitar i don't know.
