Language and Communication Colours and Codes
So, there's that whole "speaking different languages in different colours" shorthand thing that happens sometimes, which is handy to have for the cases where not everyone has translators and voice synths or are speaking a particular language for particular reasons. What colours have we established so far?
Any others?
- Mandarin: Red
- English: Blue
- German: Green
- Spanish: Indigo
- Japanese: Olive
- Russian: Violet
- Hindi: Brown
- Korean: Dark red
- French: Light blue
- Spanglish: #6666ff
- Swahili: Dark blue
- Old Norse, Swedish, and other things within that penumbra: Orange
- Latin: Silver
- "Speech via smeaker is underlined."
- <<Military Sign is indicated by double greater/less-than signs in place of speech marks.>>
- }{Psi-comms and any other telepathic communication is indicated like so.}{
- (OOC stuff is in brackets and is Size 9)
Any others?

Marge used Blue to indicate English, or when she was already speaking English, talking to herself.

Would Brown for Hindi work? now we actually have more than one Hindi speaker.
Also }{Text}{ is to be the shorthand for Psycomm messages from this point onwards.

Rearranging the list to put the major languages at the top, brown and dark red are pretty close to one another. I doubt we'll have a situation where Hindi and Korean are both being used, though, especially given our shortage of Korean speakers in the game, so it probably shouldn't cause any confusion?

Spanglish, as in, Spanish and English mixed together Fed-style, is in between blue and purple. The color is #6666ff, so you can put that after the = in color=.
