Week 87: The Return of Reflexions.
The small coffee shop owned by an Agent Ida was never exactly busy. The coffee was expensive, and the surrounding area wasn't exactly well trafficked. It was a nice find, if you could afford it. Which, even though she was not particularly well off by Oracle agent standards, Amets certainly was.
She opened the door quietly, slipping up to the counter and ordering a drink, as well as sliding across a card to the young man at the counter. It read had one word on it. ORACLE.
She lent back, glancing around the room. "Nice shop. Quite like to get the designer to help with my own place, actually." She paused, before glancing down. "Oh, and one of these cakes as well please."

"I'm sure the owner would be very pleased to hear that," Hwan said as he tapped Amets' pastry order into the system and began making her drink. He set it down on the counter in front of her with a receipt and a loyalty card; the receipt showed that the drink and pastry had been paid for with loyalty points. "Your cake will be along in a moment, if you could take a seat. We produce them fresh to order." It did indeed come along quickly, and both food and drink were high-quality.
Once Amets had finished, Hwan walked up to take the cup and plate. "The owner says she'd like to talk to you in her office, ma'am, if you have the time," he said, indicating the now-open door behind the counter, away from the door to the kitchen and hidden well in the mirrored walls.

Amets ate quickly, switching between small sips of coffee and tiny pieces of cake rapidly before sitting up and dabbing at her mouth with a napkin. As Hwan gestured to the open door, she nodded, dropping a credit chip onto the table as a tip.
"Thank you, that was most enjoyable." she said before walking through the door, into the offices beyond. Behind her, the door swung close perhaps a bit more dramatically than strictly necessary. She paused, adjusting her collar and taking stock of the rooms beyond.

Re: Week 87: The Return of Reflexions.
At the end of a small corridor was a lushly-furnished room containing a large desk with a computer and several datapads, a smaller table with chairs around it, a fridge, and a luxurious king-sized bed, above which floated screens showing security camera feeds of the shop and other information. In the centre of the room, near the table, stood Ida Salcedo. The long-absent Oracle agent wore an orange dress, slit down the sides for easier leg movement and access to the holster on her right hip that contained a ridiculously-expensive looking oversized tactical firearm; another rested on her back in a holster that fitted into her outfit perfectly. Sitting in a chair at the desk was a man who looked very much like her - if not for the smooth metal plating stamped with ID data that formed part of his face giving away his replicant status, one might think he was her twin brother or similar. He smiled politely at Amets as she entered, turning away from the datapads he had been observing. The third occupant of the room was a tall, expressionless woman wearing sunglasses and a loose grey dress and holding a sniper rifle, clearly ready to fire if required.
"So... who are you, why are you here?" Ida asked. "If you came to mess with me or you think Oracle will care if you come after me, I would say to think again but you won't get the chance." She grinned as she spoke, the bloodlust to carry through on her threat and then some clear on her face. (Pass Pres+Attitude by 10)

"My name is Amets Basamortu. I am a new agent of the Oracle corporation, and I thought it would be wise to meet with some of the senior agents on staff, and you are the easiest to find of the original Oracle agents." Her face stayed reasonably calm, but her eyes kept flicking to the two tactical weapons in Ida's holsters. "I've read some of your previous mission reports. You have an impressive history." Ida frowned, but her hand moved away from her gun a little. "Damn right I do." She held out an ID scanner, confirming Amets was indeed Oracle personnel without any complaint from the junior agent. "So... what is it you actually want from me? I've not been active with Oracle in forever, you wouldn't track me down just to say hi."

"Curiosity, mainly." Said Amets, keeping a level gaze with the other agent. "I had hoped to talk to either agent Ji or agent Nizky, but they have both disappeared. I was curious about how a member of the corporation since it first began openly doing missions saw Oracle."

"Oracle's the best thing that ever happened to me," Ida said, indicating to Amets to take a chair as she lounged back on her bed. She was suddenly much more relaxed, but her bodyguard still had her rifle aimed at Amets. "It takes a lot of guts for such a small corp to get up in everyone's faces like that, it's why I joined and it's great that they've kept it up. Tough odds and big gains, that's all Oracle is really. I bet Xu would have something more complicated to say if he was still around, Darya'd bitch about moral bullshit, god knows what the girls think any more... But I think most of the old crew would just agree that there's not much to say about Oracle. Poke around, go risk your lives a bit, come home and be rich as fuck, it's a way better model than any other corp runs."

Amets perched herself on the edge of the chair, gently scooting back to the middle as she leaned forward on her palms. "So you just enjoyed your missions and work? Kind a refreshing attitude, I have to admit. I'm actually a little surprised you haven't returned to active duty."
