New Sword Types

At the moment the Katana is clearly the superior tactical melee weapon because it has both the ability to randomly sever a body part and to be wielded two-handed for increased damage. This makes sense from a TV-Trope point of view, but I would like to change things up a bit for balance.

Tactical Bladed weapons now come in two variants: "Acid Etched" and "Reinforced".
Acid Etched weapons use two damage dice and can randomly sever if max-damage is rolled.
Reinforced weapons can be held in two hands to increase the damage to (dice roll) + 1.5 x Strength (rounded down), at the cost of reducing their rate by 1.
Prices and other stats remain the same.

Using these rules there are now two varieties of katana (and the other bladed tactical melee weapons). For example:

Acid Etched Katana - Rate 2 - 2d4 + STR Damage - severs randomly if double 4 is rolled.
Reinforced Katana - Rate 2 - 1d8 + STR Damage - Can be wielded 2-handed to make a rate 1 attack with 1d8 + 1.5 x STR damage.
This also creates two types of long sword, which just have the same stats as the katana but with different names.

Along with the above rules changes the Short Sword has had its rate reduced to 2. This makes it kind of like the club in terms of damage and normal usage. However, it can be used to sever, while the club can be used to deliver a powerful 2-handed strike. The new 'Acid-Etched' and 'Reinforced' templates can be applied to the short sword as well.
In terms of raw damage output, this makes the short word less powerful than the long-sword, but it can be assumed that a short sword is much easier to conceal than the longsword.
